Cowboy was my first Golden and my best friend.
Not a day goes by that we do not miss this wonderful boy.

January 23, 1994 to January 3, 2004

Cowboy was an exceptional dog with an unbelievable attitude. As a Special, Cowboy had multiple Sporting Group 1sts & placements. He retired from Breed competition in 1999 after entering the GRCA Show Dog Hall of Fame and capturing his Versatility Dog Excellent title. He made a brief appearance in Feb 2000 to capture his International Championship in one weekend.

Cowboy was a large balanced dog with substantial bone, a stunning headpiece, correct movement and a true Golden disposition. He had dark eyes, excellent pigment, full dentition and a scissors bite. In the breed ring, Cowboy was a natural showman.

Cowboy obtained his Companion Dog obedience title in 3 straight shows with an average score of 193. He easily obtained his Junior Hunter title as well. Cowboy adored field work and had worked on his Senior Hunter title.

Like their father, Cowboy's offspring have excelled in conformation, performance events and the field. Cowboy has frozen semen available.
